Booking & Studio Policies
A smooth appointment starts with clear expectations. Please review the policies below before booking so you know exactly what to expect before, during and after your Luxe Sets appointment.
Everything you need to know
By booking with Luxe Sets, you acknowledge and agree to the policies below. These policies help protect appointment time and keep the experience fair for every client.
Booking fee & confirmation
A $20 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment. This amount is deducted from your final service total.
Your appointment is not considered confirmed until the booking fee has been received.
Private home studio
Luxe Sets operates from a private home studio in Heathwood, near Forest Lake, Brisbane.
The exact studio address is provided to confirmed clients before their appointment.
Cancellations & rescheduling
A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Cancellations within 48 hours incur a $25 late cancellation fee.
- Booking fees remain non-refundable.
- Rescheduling is subject to available appointment times.
No-shows
Clients who do not attend their appointment without notice will be charged 50% of the booked service cost.
A new booking fee may also be required before another appointment can be secured.
Late arrivals
Please arrive on time so your full service can be completed without affecting the next client.
- 10+ minutes late: $10 late fee.
- 20+ minutes late: appointment is cancelled.
Refunds & touch-ups
All completed beauty services are non-refundable.
If you experience an issue with your set, please contact Luxe Sets within 48 hours of your appointment. A touch-up may be offered where appropriate.
Allergies & sensitivities
Clients must disclose known allergies, sensitivities, eye conditions, nail conditions or other relevant concerns before their service begins.
If a reaction occurs after an appointment, Luxe Sets can provide a complimentary removal where appropriate.
Looking after your set
Appropriate aftercare is important for retention, appearance and the condition of your natural nails or lashes.
Issues caused by picking, pulling, improper aftercare or avoidable damage may not qualify for a complimentary touch-up.
Right to adjust or refuse a service
Luxe Sets may adjust, postpone or refuse a service where completing the appointment could compromise hygiene, safety, the health of the natural nail or lashes, or the quality of the final result.
This may include situations involving visible irritation, infection, damaged natural nails or lashes, undisclosed sensitivities, or circumstances where there is insufficient appointment time to safely complete the requested service.
Arrive ready
A little preparation helps us use your appointment time for the service itself.
Gel-X clients
- Arrive with clean hands and nails.
- Tell us in advance if you are wearing product that requires removal.
- Bring inspiration photos if you have a specific design in mind.
- More detailed art or add-ons may require additional appointment time.
Lash clients
- Arrive with clean lashes and no eye makeup.
- Avoid mascara and oily eye products before your appointment.
- Avoid caffeine before your appointment where possible.
- Tell us about any previous lash or adhesive sensitivities.
